Partying like a rock star!

Was treated like a rock star last night at M Bar to see DORIS perform. Lead singer Paul Adelstein (Private Practice, Prison Break) is from CHICAGO and a Cubbies fan! Thanks to Jennifer at Press Pass LA and Lauren Mele at CO5 Media for the best seats in the house. (Not to brag, but I had a better seat than Kate Walsh, who was behind me to the side). HA!

ITSOKAYITSOKAY is a wrap a wrap!

Had a wonderful experience producing a short film by Jonathan Ade: Meditations: ItsokayItsokay starring Nicholas Neve. Great crew, great story, great cast. We shot at the Fox Studios on the set of "Raising Hope." Congrats to Jonathan and the entire cast and crew.

HELL FIRE Screening a huge success!

Returned to NYC for the world premiere of "Hell Fire" directed by Marc Fratto and produced by Frank Garfi. The screening was held at the Tribeca Cinema, and it was a full house. The final cut looks amazing, and Marc and Frank did a terrific job with post. Hoping for distribution news soon!

Short film "Chinatown" is a wrap

Just finished shooting "Chinatown" written and directed by Yan Chen (a director from Beijing). I play Jonathan, the manager of a Chinese restaurant where an innocent misunderstanding has very serious consequences. Great opportunity because I speak both English and Mandarin Chinese. Will keep you posted as the film enters post-production.

LITTLE BUDDIES is going to Cincy

"Little Buddies" is heading to the CNKY Scene Film Festival in Cincinnati this July! I am very excited to have the opportunity to screen "Little Buddies" again at another film festival. More details to follow!

LA Fear & Fantasy Film Festival!

Attended the world premiere of "The Sigil" starring Devan Liljedahl and Nate Snyder at the LA Fear & Fantasy Film Festival. The film was terrific! I really enjoyed it and congrats to Devan and Nate for a job well done.

Went to see the Belle Brigade (siblings Ethan and Barbara Gruska) at the Grammy Museum thanks to TJ at Warner Brothers Records and Jennifer at Press Pass LA! First of all, the venue is fantastic. Secondly, the Belle Brigade is awesome! Great songwriting, harmonies, and nice nice people. There was a q & A before hand and both Ethan and Barbara were very funny and down to earth). The set was too short, but really fantastic. Can't wait to follow this dynamic duo as they continue with their well deserved success!

Busy spring!

It's been a busy few months, and this week is no exception. Attended the New FilmMakers LA screening last night to support Jonathan Ade's short film, "Meditations: Supper." Was a great event and the film looked awesome. Last February, I produced Jonathan's short film, "Meditations: ItsokayItsokay" and I can't wait for the final edit.

Coincidentally, a bunch of talented friends from Chicago were screening their amazing feature film, "Holiday Road." It was a lot of fun to catch up with these funny, funny folks. 

But that's just the beginning. Tonight, I start 3 days of overnight shooting on a short film "Chinatown" directed by Yan Chen, a talented filmmaker from Beijing. I will play Jonathan, a kind fatherly restaurant manager. I also will be speaking English and Mandarin Chinese. 

Also, this week, I will be attending the Belle Brigade concert at the Grammy Museum (thanks to Press Pass LA and Warner Brothers Records). And on Thursday, I will be attending the LA Fear and Fantasy Film Festival to see "the Sigil" directed by Nate Snyder and starring Devan Liljedahl (from Real Housewives of William Shakespeare).

December was a busy busy month. The screening of "Little Buddies" at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival was a huge success and tremendous fun! I met many talented filmmakers from around the world and saw some great films. Several members of the "Little Buddies" cast and crew attended and it was great to celebrate!

A few days later, I co-produced the LA One Acts Showcase w/Joe Moran at the Complex. I directed two one act plays: "Little Buddies" (starring Sam Egber and Skyler Nevolo and "Tropic of Corduroy" (written by Joe). It was a great show and we had terrific audiences.

2012 has been off to a great start with the world premiere of "A.B.S." a short film I produced that was written and directed by 12 year old Phish Fleming. The film turned out great!
